This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented commercial Patent

Our client is a world leader in the design, manufacture, supply and
aftermarket support of leading edge vacuum, semiconductor, scientific
and chemical management technologies and systems to a wide range of
OEMs and end-users. Innovation has been achieved through a
constant programme of multiple new product developments feeding into
world-class manufacturing and service facilities.
This role requires a high calibre commercial Patent Attorney to head
up its Intelectual Property (IP) function across Europe and the USA
providing the full range of IP services and advice to internal clients
on patents, trade marks, copyright and design issues. This requires
working closely with technical/R&D, marketing and commercial
colleagues.
The Global IP Manager will enjoy considerable influence over the
devising, development and implementation of an appropriate IP
strategy, and manage a compact team which is expected to grow in the
short to middle term.
Candidates will possess an excellent first degree in Mechanical or
Chemical Engineering, be a UK qualified EPA (European Patent Attorney)
and/or possess a national qualification. Experience of trade marks
would be advantageous but not strictly essential.
