CAMBIA is seeking a Transactional IP Attorney and Patent Agents to promote innovation that fosters the rapid development, improvement and sharing of technology. CAMBIA's™ IP team (see www.patentlens.net) creates and validates new business models, licensing and distributive collaboration mechanisms that are evocative of the open source software movement, but tailored for biological innovation. We require a Transactional IP attorney with extensive experience in life sciences patent in-licensing and cross-licensing, securing freedom to operate, materials transfer negotiations and contracts in multiple jurisdictions. We are also seeking Patent Agents with demonstrated analytical thinking and lucid writing to map complex patent landscapes of key enabling technologies in the life sciences. Knowledge of literature and practice of modern biological innovation including agriculture and medicine - with solid grounding in patent law and craft, and industry experience in freedom-to-operate are essential.
